You wrote me a letter tonight, and I thought it was only fair to respond. As you said, it has been 120 days since we met, and neither of us had any idea what was to come when that first conversation began. Neither of us could have imagined this love that has grown, back then. Yes, \u201cback then\u201d\u2014because it feels like a lifetime ago. My life is now split into \u201cbefore Romeo\u201d and \u201csince Romeo.\u201d And, like you said, when we found each other, we found the missing puzzle pieces to each other\u2019s hearts. We could never go back, and I would never want to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You said that you thought you had your future all figured out before you met me, but so much has changed. You know that for me, this is also very much the case. Since I found you, everything has changed. The path of my life has shot off into a completely different direction than I ever pictured, and that\u2019s all because I found you and came alive in ways that I didn\u2019t know I could. When I found you, I also started to find myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In your letter, you said this: \u201cYou\u2019re so much more than anything I could ever wish for. The first time that I saw your picture, the only thing that I wished for was to kiss you.\u201d Reading this, I picture you four months ago, not knowing me but seeing my picture for the first time and wishing you could kiss me. That is just about the sweetest thing I could imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I first saw your picture and read your first message to me, I had a lot of thoughts\u2014but none of them were that you were going to become the love of my life! It\u2019s absolutely crazy looking back to then and knowing what I know now. I thought you were a sweet, goofy guy and that you seemed sincere, and I wanted to talk to you to find out more. Little did I know that you are the absolute sweetest, most caring, romantic, loving, silly, funny, adorable, amazing and wonderful partner that I could ever hope for. You<\/em> are so much more than anything I<\/em> could ever wish for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You did talk a big game before we met in person, and yes, my love, you have far exceeded my expectations. Our future together is not only bright, but coming together sooner than I could have hoped for. I fell in love with you so fast that it has been incredibly painful to want more of you all the time and never feel like I get enough. But I\u2019ve gotten more and more of you with each passing month, and I know that as we head into our next chapter together, things will only get better.
